Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
Not necessary. The quote tool only requires gender, birthdate, overall health assessment, tobacco status, desired coverage level and term years. That is sufficient to generate rates. You only share your name, address and medical information if you decide to proceed with an application.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
The rates displayed reflect what each carrier would charge for your selected health classification. The carrier finalizes the actual premium following underwriting, which may keep, improve or modify the classification. This website does not constitute an offer of insurance or a guarantee of any specific rate.
What happens when I click Apply?
Selecting Apply takes you to a secure application form using the carriers' platform and prefilled with your answers. You have the ability to pause and continue later, with electronic signature at the end. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California insurance agency (License 0B75129), handles the application.
Will I need a medical exam?
This varies by carrier and underwriting rules. Many term life products now include no-exam options for qualified applicants within age and coverage limits; each quote indicates whether an exam is required, might be required, or is not required.
Is a longer term better?
A term period should span the years when your family would face real hardship if you were gone: paying off a home, raising children, repaying loans. Longer terms cost more monthly but guarantee your rate for longer. The quote tool allows you to compare 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 year options.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote tool asks no personal information, this site does not retain or trade visitor data, and tracking is completely anonymous with no cookies. Visit the privacy policy to see exactly what information is collected and by which organizations.
